    Tsui Finishes Fourth in Canadian Women's Amateur

    Beloeil, Québec - Rising junior Vivian Tsui finished in fourth place at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship, which concluded Friday afternoon. The Markham, Ontario, native finished with a 5-over par 76 to complete her tournament with a four-day total of 289 on the par 71, 6,055 yard, layout at Beloeli Golf Club in Beloeil, Quebec.

    Tsui posted two consecutive under-par rounds of 68 and 69 in the second and third rounds, and carded 12 birdies over the four days.

    Brittany Marchand, Lindsay McGetrick and Augusta James also all finished in the top 25 at the championship.

    Marchand played her final 36 holes at even par, firing consecutive 71s both days. She finished 11th, with a total score of 292 (73,77,71,71).

    McGetrick finished 16th with a 10-over par total of 294 (74,74,71,75).

    James posted a 2-over par 73 today to bump her up to 23rd for a 297-total over the four days of play. James bounced back in the third round, making two birdies in her last four holes to finish with a 4-over par 75.

    Ana Menendez posted a total score of 302 (77,73,72,80) for the 72-hole tournament, finishing in 39th place.

    Caroline Ellington finished 44th overall with a four-day total of 305 (74,77,73,81).  

    Brooke Henderson of Ontario captured the title with a final round of 5-under par 66 for a 5-under total of 275 for the 4 days.
