James, Canada In The Mix At World Amateur Team Championships

ANTALYA, TURKEY - NC State golfer Augusta James carded three birdies over her final four holes to finish the third round at 3-under par, 69 at the World Amateur Team Championship on Saturday. The event is being held at the Gloria Courses in Antalya, Turkey.
James is tied for ninth in the individual standings at 2-under par, 214, while her Canadian squad is tied for third with Australia on the team leaderboard at 5-under par, 427. New Zealand's Lydia Ko is the top individual at 10-under par, 206, while Korea has the overall team lead at 11-under par, 421.
In addition to her three birdies on the back nine, James opened with a birdie on No. 1 and had two more on the fifth and ninth holes. Her only bogeys of the round were a double at No. 7 and going one-over at No. 10.
Her teammates, Jennifer Kirby and Brooke Henderson each had over-par rounds Saturday with Kirby posting a one-over par, 73 and Henderson recording a 2-over par, 74.
James will start Sunday’s final round at 12:10 p.m., local time.
