Women's Golf Ranked 18th In Final Golf World Fall Coaches' Poll

RALEIGH, N.C. – The N.C. State women’s golf team is ranked 18th in the final Golf World/Women’s Golf Coaches Association Poll, released Monday. The Wolfpack recorded seventh-place finishes at the Cougar Classic (Charleston, S.C.), the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and the Landfall Tradition (Wilmington, N.C.) Three Pack golfers posted top-20 finishes, led by senior Amanda Baker and sophomore Augusta James, with two each. Sophomore Lindsay McGetrick also registered one. Baker tied for ninth at the Tar Heel Invitational and tied for 15th at the Landfall with teammate James, who also claimed 14th place showing at the Cougar Classic. McGetrick tied for 19th at the Tar Heel Invitational. NC State opens its spring season Feb. 10-13 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, P.R.
