COLUMBIA, MO.-- No. 23 NC State gymnastics set new season highs on vault and beam, while tying season highs on bars and floor on the way to the squad’s best score of the year, a 195.225 at No. 17 Missouri.
The Pack ended up seven-tenths shy of the Tigers, as Missouri prevailed with a 195.925.
Brooke Barr produced the Wolfpack’s top score of the night on a 9.85 vault to take second. Barr rounded out her meet with solid scores of 9.775 on beam and 9.75 on floor.
Lane Jarred and Morgan Johnson set career-highs in the meet, while Kristen Harabedian and Jackie Yanchocik set new season highs.
Stephanie Oullette earned her career-high on bars with a 9.825 for a share of second with fellow Wolfpacker Rachel Fincham. Oullette went on to finish second in the all-around, as well, topping 39 points for the second time this season with a 39.025.
Jarred’s came on beam with a 9.825 for second place. Jess Panza came in just behind Jarred with a 9.8. Jarred backed that performance up with another 9.8 on floor to lead the Pack.
Harabedian and Johnson eached notched the first 9.8s of their careers, Harabedian on bars and Johnson on vault both for fifth. Yanchocik’s 9.7 on bars represents a career best.
The Pack’s season-best vault score was bolstered by 9.775s from Diahanna Ham and Hannah Fallanca.
The Wolfpack will return to action at home on Saturday February 11 against Penn State, William & Mary, and George Washington.
