No. 21 Wolfpack Scores a 195.525 at No. 5 Georgia

ATHENS, Ga.-- No. 21 NC State posted a 195.525, but came up short on the road against the fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs who scored a 197.375 on Sunday.
Junior Rachel Fincham paced the Wolfpack on bars posting a score of 9.850, good for third place. Senior Jess Panza and sophomore Kristen Harabedian recorded 9.775s, while senior Alex Williams scored a 9.750 to highlight the Pack's performance on bars.
The second event of the day for the Pack was vault, in which senior Brooke Barr and sophomore Diahanna Ham both scored 9.775s to lead the Wolfpack. Junior Morgan Johnson along with sophomores Hannah Fallanca and Stephanie Ouellette recorded 9.75s in the event.
On floor, seniors Anna Kronenfeld and Jess Panza along with sophomore Stephanie Ouellette recorded 9.8s which was the high score for State in the event. The score for Kronenfeld was a new season-high as well as a new career-high. Freshman Lane Jarred and sophomore Ellen Marion posted a 9.775 and 9.750, respectively.
NC State posted its highest score of the day in the final event which was the balance beam. Freshman Lane Jarred continued her dominance in the event recording a 9.850 to pace the Wolfpack. Jarred has scored a 9.825 or better seven times this season, including two first place finishes.
All of the Pack gymnasts competing on beam recorded a 9.7 or better, which led to the team score on beam (49.050) being the highest of the day for State. Panza and Fincham scored 9.825s while Fallanca and Ouellette registered 9.775s. Sophomore Diahanna Ham rounded out the scoring on beam with a 9.750.
Sophomore Stephanie Ouellette scored a 38.925 in the all-around, good for third place.
NC State will close out the regular season on Friday, March 16 at 7 p.m. against the William & Mary Tribe in Williamsburg, Va.
