Gymnastics Readies for Dual Against Missouri

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State gymnastics team is set to return to the friendly confines of Reynolds Coliseum, as it welcomes Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 1 beginning at 7 p.m.
“We’re looking forward to a good competition against Missouri,” said head coach Mark Stevenson. “They’re a Southeastern Conference (SEC) team and it’s always good to go into a meet competing against one of the best conferences in the country.”
State will open the meet on vault, before moving to the uneven parallel bars. In the second half of the meet, the Pack will compete on the balance beam and conclude the evening on the floor exercise.
The Pack returns to action after finishing first overall last Friday against Texas Woman’s and William & Mary with a score of 194.050. On Sunday, the Pack finished with its second highest team score of the season and highest score on the road with a 195.400 at West Virginia.
The second of three sets of trading cards consisting of Naomi DeVries, Lane Jarred, Megan Kurdelmeier, Courtney Turner, Brittni Watkins and Michaela Woodford will be available to the first 200 fans in attendance. In addition, the squad will be signing autographs immediately following the meet.
