Gymnastics Holds Intrasquad Meet
Nov. 7, 2012
RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's gymnastics team held its first intrasquad meet of the season Tuesday, Nov. 6 in the team's practice facility. The intrasquad meet resembled a standard meet with similar warm-up times and event rotations. The team was broken up into two squads: red and white. The gymnasts competed in the meet as if it was official, including wearing meet attire (leotards). "I thought the competition went great," said head Mark Stevenson. "The kids all stepped up to the plate and did a really nice job. Overall it was a really good performance and I'm pleased with where they are right now. This intrasquad meet lets the kids see where they are and what they need to work on and where we need to progress."
