The Wolfpack is expected to boast a squad this fall that features four goalies, a significant increase after regularly carrying no more than three, and usually only two, in previous seasons.
Justin Bryant was tabbed as the Director of Goalkeeping for Tim Santoro's program beginning in 2013. A veteran keeper coach, Bryant has spent over 20 years coaching goalkeepers at the collegiate and professional levels.
The 2014 season will be his second at NC State.
He coached at Radford, Queens College and Elon for 15 seasons, prior to a seven-year stint in the North Carolina ODP program.
Bryant, who played at Radford University from 1984-87, played professionally in England, Scotland and the United States.
"Having Justin on staff, in whatever capacity I could work out, was a priority of mine from the time I was hired due to our long relationship in the sport," said Santoro. "His knowledge of the game, especially in the goalkeeper position, is as good as it gets and the option for Kim and him to work together on a daily basis is going to be a great benefit for the program."
