    As a freshman: Saw extensive playing time as a true freshman, performing well and compiling a 1.30 GAA ? NC State was 4-3-1 in games she started, including a pair of shutouts ? Won a 2-0 shutout September 1 vs. Davidson, and a 1-0 shutout October 9 at Wofford ? Had a season-high eight saves in a 2-2 tie October 22 at Florida State .

    High school and personal: Earned all-metro honors in the D.C. area as a senior in 1998 from The Washington Post ? Was named first-team all-district ? Was a starter for the Team America Club team, leading Team America to a regional championship and a third-place national finish in 1998 ? Majoring in civil engineering.
