Thori Staples-Bryan, one of the most decorated women's soccer players in NC State history, is back playing in the Triangle for the Carolina Railhawks of the W-League. Thori Staples-Bryan NC State's only four-time All-ACC selection, and was a three-time first team All-American (1993, 1994, 1995) Was a member of the U.S. National Team from 1993 through 2003 and represented the United States in the 1995 World Cup and was an alternate for the 1996 Olympic Team Played for the San Jose CyberRays of the Women's United Soccer Association from 2001-03 and was a key member of the 2001 Founders Cup Championship team.
