    RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's soccer hosts two more matches this weekend at Dail Soccer Field - rounding out a six-game home stand to start the 2010 season.

    The Wolfpack is 2-2 heading into the game with Pittsburgh. NC State has a treat for Wolfpack fans that will be in attendance and for those that can't make it to the game.

    On Friday against the Panthers it will be one of two student appreciation nights sponsored by Domino's. Be sure to get there early, as Domino's will supply 50 pizzas for attending NC State students! So, come hungry and ready to cheer your Wolfpack on to victory!

    And for fans from out of town, the match will be broadcast live through and is FREE of charge. The link can be found near the top of this story where it says Live Video.

    Freshman Jennie Krauser continues to lead the club in scoring with seven points (three goals, one assist). That figure ties her for sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Irvine, Calif., native is also tied for fourth in the league with three goals scored.

    Junior Kristina Argiroff is next on the scoring ledger with six points on two goals and two assists. Her five-point game against Coastal Carolina is tied with four others in the ACC for the highest single-game point total this season.

    Eight different players have scored already for NC State, matching the 2009 clubs number of goal scorers.



    Junior goalkeeper Kim Kern has started all four matches and owns a 1.21 goals-against-average and has made eight saves.

    Scouting Pittsburgh: The Panthers are 2-2 on the season after a 3-0 win over Oakland last Sunday at home.

    Ashley Cuba leads the team in scoring with three goals and six points, while Katelyn Ruhe has handed out four assists. Dana DelleFemine has five points with two goals and one assist.

    Keeper Morie Kephart has played every minute in net and owns a 1.25 goals-against-average.


    Loyola (Md.): The Greyhounds are 1-2 entering this weekend. They play William & Mary on Friday before heading to Raleigh for Sunday's match. Loyola lost two games last weekend in Nebraska's tournament, falling to the host Cornhuskers 2-0 and to Creighton, 2-1. They did win 3-2 over local-rival Towson to open the season.

    Nicole Schiro leads the club with five points on two goals and one assist. Danielle Ippolito has played all 270 minutes in net and owns a 2.00 GAA.

    NC State plays its first road match of the season next Friday at East Carolina in Greenville at 7 p.m. The club returns back home to host Florida International on Sunday at 1 p.m., at Dail Soccer Field.
