    Pack Softball Sets Record-Smashing Standard

    Under first-year head coach Shawn Rychcik, the Wolfpack won the school's second ACC title, advanced to an NCAA Regional title game for the first time in school history and broke nearly 40 team and individual school records.

    As a Junior (2010): Played in 52 games, starting 51 ... Tied for the team lead in sacrifice hits with six ... Collected 22 hits in 125 at-bats ... Scored 14 runs while gathering 28 total bases ... Hit two doubles and one home run on the season ... Drove in 12 RBIs ... A perfect two for two in stolen bases ... Drew 14 walks.

    As a Sophomore (2009): Named to the ACC All-Tournament Team after going 2-for-4 at the plate against North Carolina ... Was the only player on the roster to start in every game ... One of just two players to make an appearance in all 48 games, all of which came at second base ... Was the Pack's main offensive weapon, leading the squad in batting average (.282), hits (40), runs (17) and multiple-hit games (10) ... Ranked second on the team in at-bats (142) and RBIs (17) ... Third on the team in total bases (53) and walks (14) ... Tied for third in doubles (4) and home runs (3) ... Slugged .373 ... Led off 39 times, batting second on nine occasions ... Drove in two or more runs six times ... Enjoyed a 10-game hitting streak ... Was in the middle of a five-game hitting streak at the end of the season ... Hit .400 as a leadoff ... Put up a .600 clip with runners on third and less than two outs ... Got hit by a pitch 14 times, ranking 23rd nationally and setting a new school record.

    As a Freshman (2008): A steady contributor on both offense and defense before becoming sidelined with an injury during the latter part of the season ... Had five multiple-hit games ... Recorded multiple-RBI games on four occasions ... Played in 38 contests, starting 34 times ... Started 29 games at second base, five at third ... Third on the team in batting average (.265) ... Fifth in on-base percentage (.328) ... Tied for the team lead with three sacrifice flies.

    High School: Played shortstop for head coach Donna Lee at Valencia High School for four years ... Hit .381 as a senior, collecting 37 hits and 15 RBIs in 33 games ... Helped steer her team to league, section, state and national championships in 2006-07 ... Drilled clutch game-winning hits in both playoff and championship games, including one in the bottom of the 10th inning ... Named first-team Foothill League and SCV ... Played travel ball with the Valley Breeze ... A scholar-athlete ... Active in the school band.
