Caitlin Dent's 3-Run, Walk-Off Homer Beats #24 UNC 11-8 in 8 Innings

The senior outfielder had her third two-homer game in Wolfpack softball's last four games, driving a three-run shot over the left centerfield wall in the bottom of the eighth to earn a doubleheader split against the No. 24 Tar Heels. The teams meet Sunday at 1 p.m. in the series finale. Admission is free for all spectators.

Softball Takes DH From Charlotte; Weiman Gets 1st Career No-Hitter

Sophomore pitcher Emily Weiman picked up a pair of wins, including the first no-hitter of her career, in a doubleheader sweep of the 49ers at the Dail Softball Stadium. The Wolfpack will face Maryland in a three-game series this weekend, beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday.

Pack Softball Bounces Back, Takes 5-3 Win Over ECU

Sophomore Sara Lippard's bases-loaded double gives the Wolfpack the lead for good in the fourth in the second game of a doubleheader at the ECU Softball Stadium. State travels to Atlanta for a three-game series against Georgia Tech on Friday and Saturday.

Davis' 2 HRs Keep Pack Close in 7-4 Loss to No. 10 Texas

Sophomore shortstop Renada Davis, who now leads the ACC with 12 home runs, hits a two-run shot and a solo shot for her second two-homer game of the season. The Pack (11-13-1) travels to Blacksburg, Va., next weekend to face Virginia Tech in its first ACC road series of the season.

As a freshman (2012)

Versatile part-time starter whose .283 batting average was tops among NC State reserves.
Made 15 starts in 40 appearances: eight at catcher, five as designated hitter and two in the outfield.
Had 14 RBIs in 60 at-bats, with a double, a triple, a home run and a .433 slugging percentage.
Went 3-for-3 wth one RBI against Kent State and 3-for-3 with two RBIs against N.C. A&T in her only multi-hit games of the season.
