RALEIGH, N.C. - Softball has picked up an additonal game on its schedule, head coach Lisa Navas announced today. The Wolfpack will open up play at Curtis and Jaqueline Dail Softball Stadium on Thursday, Feb. 23 against Lehigh at 6 p.m.

The home opener was previously slated for Friday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m versus Kent State.

The contest will be the first of the season for Lehigh, who look to return to the NCAA Tournament in 2012 and make it seven trips to NCAA Regionals in the last nine years. The Mountain Hawks are paced offensively by senior infielder Julie Fernandez, a three-time first team All-Patriot League selection. In the circle, Lehigh is led by Rebecca Bliss, a 16-game winner in 2011, and Ashley Quigley, who paced the squad in strikeouts a season ago.

Following the game versus Lehigh, the Pack returns to action Friday, Feb. 24 for a doubleheader against Kent State (2:30 p.m.) and Georgetown (4:30 p.m.) in the Wolfpack Challenge.
