2011 Softball Fall Clinic Date Announced

NC State softball will have three clinics this fall, each focusing on a different aspect of the game. On Saturday, Sept. 10, head coach Lisa Navas and her staff will host a pitching clinic, a catching clinic and a hitting clinic at Curtis and Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium.
From 9 a.m. to noon, the instruction will focus on pitching and catching. Recently hired Wolfpack pitching coach Lisa Norris as well as current NC State pitchers and catchers will be on hand to teach fundamentals. Specific topics of instruction for pitchers include mechanics, tips on pitches and ways to improve speed. For catchers, skills, ways to improve technique and tips on how to make your pitcher look better will be covered by the clinic staff.
Following the pitching and catching clinic, the Pack hitting clinic will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m. During this session, the Wolfpack players and staff will discuss hitting techniques and drills as well as tips for improving offensive fundamentals.
