COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The NC State women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday to close out the 2014 regular season.
The Wolfpack (8-13, 2-12 ACC) will now prepare to face Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament, beginning on Wednesday, April 24. The 14th-seeded Pack will face the 11th-seeded Hokies at noon at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

In singles, James-Baker won her team-leading 12th dual singles match with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Nataliya Bredikhina on court two, while Fieldsend took her match 6-3, 7-5 over Olga Bredikhina at No. 5 singles.
