    RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 45 NC State women's tennis team will look to stay perfect on the year as it welcomes the College of Charleston to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center on Sunday, Feb. 16 for a 1 p.m. match. The Wolfpack currently stands at 4-0 on the year, including wins over NC Central, East Carolina, No. 70 Missouri and Charleston Southern.

    College of Charleston heads to Raleigh carrying a 2-2 record on the year with wins over Winthrop and Davidson and losses to No. 32 South Carolina and No. 61 Wake Forest.

    Sunday will mark the Wolfpack's first match since a 6-1 win over Charleston Southern on Feb. 8. NC State was set to play at No. 44 VCU on Thursday, Feb. 13 but had to cancel the match due to adverse travel conditions brought upon by Winter Storm Pax.

    All fans are encouraged to wear pink to Sunday's match, as part of the Play4Kay initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer.


    • NC State owns a combined 21-3 dual singles mark this spring, and is undefeated from the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 spots in the lineup.

    Rachael James-Baker, Elisha Hande, Liza Fieldsend, Nicole Martinez and Sophie Nelson are a combined 26-0 in both singles play and doubles play through four matches this year.

    • James-Baker garnered a 6-4, 6-3 singles victory versus No. 83 Kelli Hine of Missouri on Feb. 1, as part of her 4-0 singles ledger on the year.



    • The Pack is 11-0 in dual doubles matches, including a perfect 4-0 mark from Joelle Kissell and Nelson. Hande and Martinez are 3-0 from the No. 1 doubles position.

    • Prior to last year, the Wolfpack's most recent 4-0 start came in 2006.

    • The Pack is 8-3 all-time versus College of Charleston, including a 6-1 victory on Feb. 17 of last year. State has won six straight over the Cougars dating back to a 5-0 victory in the 1998 season.
