RALEIGH, N.C. - Three former members of the Wolfpack women's tennis team will receive their diplomas on Saturday, May 12, as part of the largest graduating class of student-athletes in NC State's history. Sanaa Bhambri, Ashley Miller and Sandhya Nagaraj will join 86 fellow student-athletes in the spring commencement ceremonies.

Bhambri, a graduate student from New Dehli, India, will receive her Masters in business administration. After using up her eligibility in 2011, Bhambri stayed at school to finish her degree and assist with the team this season. Although she only competed at NC State for one season, Bhambri became one of the program's most successful players in recent history. She was an All-ACC selection, and was ranked 28th in the nation in singles in 2011. Bhambri became the first player to earn a berth to the NCAA Singles Championship since Kylie Hunt did so in 1995. She also competed in the NCAA Doubles Championship with teammate Nagaraj.

Miller, a senior from Montgomery, N.Y., will receive her degree in parks, recreation and tourism management. She had a strong senior season in 2012, picking up six singles wins and eight doubles victories. Miller and doubles partner Joelle Kissell were ranked as high as No. 59 this season.

Nagaraj, a fifth-year student from Chennai, India, will graduate with a degree in sport management. Nagaraj exhausted her eligibility in 2011, but remained at NC State to finish her degree. Nagaraj and Bhambri became only the second duo in school history to qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship, when they did so during the 2011 campaign. The pair was ranked as high as seventh in the nation that season. Nagaraj was also an All-ACC selection in 2010.
