    Volleyball Hosts First Spring Tournament on Saturday

    The Wolfpack will split into two squads and host seven other teams in the day-long event at Reynolds Coliseum.

    NC State Volleyball Is Flavored With Texas Influences

    Third-year head coach Bryan Bunn and his staff are well-known in and familiar with the Lone Star State. Three Wolfpack players are also from Texas. The Pack plays Texas A&M on Thursday at 5 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA volleyball championships.

    Pack Volleyball Falls 3-2 at No. 23 North Carolina

    After winning first set, NC State's volleyball team loses the next two and falls 15-7 in the decisive fifth set. The Pack will find out Sunday at 4 p.m. if it is selected for the 64-team NCAA Championship field for the first time since 1987.

    Pack Volleyball Concludes Regular Season at North Carolina

    The fourth-place Wolfpack will face the third-place Tar Heels in a 2 p.m. contest at Carmichael Arena in Chapel Hill. Admission is free for all spectators.

    Hopper Named ACC Co-Volleyball Player of Week

    Sophomore Dariyan Hopper led the Wolfpack in kills and hitting in wins over Virginia and Virginia Tech.

    2011 season

    • All-ACC Freshman team selection.
    • First NC State player since 2003 to earn a place on the newcomer squad.
    • Two-time ACC Freshman of the Week honoree.
    • Came on strong at the end of the season, posting double-digit kill totals in 11 of the Wolfpack's final 14 matches.
    • Played in 97 of the Wolfpack's 124 total sets.
    • Was third on the team with 244 kills on the season, averaging 2.52 kills per set.
    • Owned a .188 hitting percentage.
    • Was fourth on the team with 55 total blocks on the season.
