Volleyball Ends Season with 3-1 Loss to UNC

All-ACC middle blocker Margaret Salata has 13 kills and nine blocks for the Wolfpack, while ACC All-Freshman selection Dariyan Hopper has 11 kils and 12.5 blocks. The Pack finishes with its most overall victories since 1996 and a record number of ACC wins.

Turning Volleyball Into A Winner

NC State will recognize its four senior volleyball players prior to today's 1 p.m. contest against Georgia Tech. Margaret Salata, Kelly Wood, Luciana Shafer and Becah Fogle have helped turn the Wolfpack into a winning program during their careers.

Volleyball Wins School-Record 7th ACC Match

NC State jumped out to a quick lead against Georgia Tech and cruised to a 3-0 victory on Senior Day at Reynolds Coliseum. The win gives the Pack a 19-11 overall mark and a 7-10 ACC record. State travels to play Virginia and Virginia Tech next weekend.

Volleyball To Honor 4 Seniors Prior to Georgia Tech Match

NC State will recognize Margaret Salata, Kelly Wood, Luciana Shafer and Becah Fogle prior to Sunday's match against Georgia Tech. The televised match is set to begin at 1 p.m. at Reynolds Coliseum. Admission is free for all fans.

2010: Tore ACL against Wake Forest on Oct. 8 and missed the remainder of the 2010 season ... Earned 197 kills before injury ... Notched 15 service aces.

2009: Played in 89 sets throughout the year, starting 28 matches ... Earned 930 attacks, good for second on the team ... Recorded 16 service aces for the season ... Gathered 25 blocks, five of which were solo ... Also added 11 assists ... Led the squad in kills (289), kills per set (3.25), digs (225) and points (320).

2008: Earned playing time in four matches and five games on the season ... Recorded her first point against Iowa State ... Added two digs against UNC and Baylor.

Prep: Played at Vista Ridge High School under head coach Holly Lamb ... Recorded 355 digs and 387 kills during her senior campaign while leading her team to a 25-11 record and an area/district championship ... Team captain her senior year ... Named to Prep Volleyball Top 150 as a senior ... Chosen as Hill Country News Most Valuable Player in 2006 and 2007 ... Honored first-team all-district in 2006 and 2007 ...
