    The Wolfpack posted a 6-2 record last weekend at its own tournament in Reynolds Coliseum. It will play its final event of the spring on Saturday at Chapel Hill.

    Split Volleyball Squads Perform Well in First Spring Tournament

    The two squads both went 6-2 in Saturday's nine-team tournament, hosted at Reynolds Coliseum. Sophomore Morgan Cormier had 27 kills and junior Alesha Wilson had 11 blocks.

    Wolfpack Volleyball Ends Season With NCAA First-Round Loss

    After winning the opening set, NC State volleyball lost 3-1 to Texas A&M in Austin, Texas, in the NCAA Championship. The Pack ends its record-breaking season with a 22-10 record.

    2011 season

    • Started 24 matches and played in all 34 contests as a true freshman for the Wolfpack.
    • Played in 115 of the team's 124 sets.
    • Second on the team with 287 digs on the season, an average of 2.5 per set.
    • Owned a .286 attack average.
    • Posted a career-high 19 digs in the Wolfpack's win over nationally ranked Wisconsin. Added 18 digs against Miami and Boston College.
    • Played all five sets in six different matches.
    • Finished the season with 2 kills, 19 assists, 16 service aces and 287 digs.

    • Garnered Prep Volleyball All-America honors in 2010.
    • Named an AVCA Under Armour All-America honorable mention as a senior.
