NC State Volleyball Is Flavored With Texas Influences

Third-year head coach Bryan Bunn and his staff are well-known in and familiar with the Lone Star State. Three Wolfpack players are also from Texas. The Pack plays Texas A&M on Thursday at 5 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA volleyball championships.

2011 season

• Played in 77 of the team's 124 sets in her inaugural collegiate campaign.
• Saw action in a total of 25 of the Wolfpack's 33 matches.
• Despite limited action, was fifth on the team with 163 kills on the season and was fourth with 2.12 kills per set.
• Had career-high 13 kills in the Wolfpack's 3-1 victory over Maryland.
• Had double-digit kill totals in five matches on the season. The Wolfpack was 5-0 in those matches.
• Posted a career-best .750 hitting percentage against North Carolina A&T.
• Posted a career-high eight blocks at Virginia Tech.
• Was fourth on the team with 62 total blocks and 0.81 blocks per set.
• Had an attack average of .155 for the season.
• Had 95 kills and 44 blocks against ACC competition.
