Junior setter spends month in Vietnam with Coach for College
The Wolfpack posted a 6-2 record last weekend at its own tournament in Reynolds Coliseum. It will play its final event of the spring on Saturday at Chapel Hill.
The Pack wins five of its eight sets in Virginia Beach, Va. The Pack hosts its second tournament of the spring this Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum.
The Wolfpack will play eight sets during the day-long event.
The two squads both went 6-2 in Saturday's nine-team tournament, hosted at Reynolds Coliseum. Sophomore Morgan Cormier had 27 kills and junior Alesha Wilson had 11 blocks.
2014: Saw action in 14 matches, starting seven of those contests for a total of 37 sets played during the season ... Finished second on the squad with 324 assists, an average of 8.76 assists per set ... Handed out a season high 47 assists in a five-set match at home against Louisville ... Ended the year with 69 digs and recorded double figure digs in three matches ... Also tallied 15 kills from her setter position
2013: Played in 31 of 32 matches in her first season with the Wolfpack, starting 30 of those contests and seeing action in 102 sets ... Finished the season with 933 assists, an average of 9.30 assists per set the seventh best in the ACC ... Dished out 30 or more assists on 20 occasions ... Recorded a career high 59 assists in the match against Colgate ... Reached 50 assists for the second time during the season against Notre Dame with 53 and met the mark again versus Duke with 56 ... Posted 223 digs, the fourth most on the squad ... Notched double-digit digs in eight matches to record a double-double in those contests ...
