    NC State's ACC-leading volleyball squad hosts the Blue Devils in Reynolds Coliseum, looking for its eighth consecutive win. Admission is free for all spectators.

    Volleyball 2012: A Closer Look

    The NC State volleyball team begins practice on Aug. 7 and is looking to improve on last year's breakthrough 20-13 season. Here's a closer look at this year's squad.

    Preps, misc.

    • Played setter for coach Kathryn Reeber at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh.
    • Totaled 234 digs, 14 assists and 19 aces as a high school senior.
    • Team posted a 22-3 record en route to the NCHSAA 3-A championship, which was played at Reynolds Coliseum.
    • Won three consecutive NCHSAA 3A championships in high school.
    • Majoring in chemical engineering.
