Coach Bryan Bunn Announces 4 Weeks of Summer Camps

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State fourth-year volleyball coach Bryan Bunn has announced four weeks of summer camps for a wide range of ages and skill levels, beginning on June 17.
Bunn, who has led the Wolfpack to a 56-41 record in his three years as head coach, took the Wolfpack to the NCAA Championships for the first time in 25 years, while posting a 22-10 overall record and a 12-8 ACC record. It was the Pack's second consecutive 20-win season under Bunn and its first winning record in ACC play since 1988.
He has camps slated for beginners and advanced players, as well as for commuters and overnight campers.
Here are the dates and costs for the four weeks of camps:
Youth Volley Camp I and II (June 17-20 and July 15-18): This is a dynamic, fun-filled program designed for athletes ages 4-9 that teaches athletic skills with a focus on volleyball. An athletic adventure regardless of the shape, size or athleticism of the young athlete, this program is designed to work big muscles and begin the hand-eye coordination efforts to enjoy athletics. Smaller court, smaller ball and lower nets will be used to learn all the beginning skills, movement and play for the game. Girls and boys are both encouraged to participate. Camp runs from 8 a.m.-noon. Cost is $90.
All Skills Commuter Camp I and II (June 17-20 and July 15-18): Top-quality training of fundamental skills for all levels ages 10 and up, specifically beginners, middle school players and high school freshmen. The camp will train all skills including passing, setting, hitting, digging, blocking and serving. Team skills and competition are also highlighted at the camp. Players are grouped by talent level, age and experience, so all levels will have an opportunity to learn and have fun. A 10:1 camper-to-coach ratio. Minimum age is 10. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. all four days, lunch not provided. DAY CAMP ONLY. Cost is $175 or $205 with lunch.
All Skills Overnight Camp (July 19-21): This camp is designed for the middle school and junior varsity level player. This is a great preparation for the school season. The camp will train all skills including passing, setting, hitting, digging, blocking and serving. Team skills and competition are also highlighted at the camp. 10:1 camper-to-coach ratio. Camp runs Friday 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $375.
Advanced Overnight Camp (July 26-28): This camp is designed for the varsity player or elite club player that wishes to play at a high level. Advanced techniques of all aspects of the game will be taught. The camp consists of individual and team training concluding with a camp wide tournament. There will be seven sessions in three days. Camper-to-coach ratio of 8:1 insures quality individual instruction and attention. Varsity or elite club level experience is highly recommended. Camp runs Fri 1:30 pm-8:30pm, Sat 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Overnight cost is $375. Commuter cost is $295.
