Volleyball to Make Eight Television Appearances
Aug. 8, 2013
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team will have eight of its matches broadcast on the ESPN family of networks as part of the ACC's unprecedented coverage of fall Olympic sports, the league office announced today.
“It’s great to have so many of our matches broadcast live,” said head coach Bryan Bunn. “It allows fans to follow our program and see us play, even if they can’t make it to one of the matches.”
Seven of the team’s matches will appear on ESPN3, while the match at North Carolina on Sept. 25 will air on ESPNU. The contest will be the conference opener for both teams and is slated for an 8 p.m. start time.
The Pack’s first match to be broadcast on ESPN3 will be the Sept. 20 home contest against Wisconsin. On Oct. 18, State travels to Blacksburg, Va., to face the Virginia Tech Hokies in a match that will also be carried by ESPN3.
Other matches to appear on ESPN3 include the contests at Florida State (Nov. 3) and at Pitt (Nov. 24), and home matches against Clemson (Nov. 7), Georgia Tech (Nov. 9) and UNC (Nov. 20).
In addition to the Pack's matches on ESPN3, all home matches will be streamed live on GoPack.com
