Hello all! I'm sorry that I haven’t written in a while. Things have been quite hectic around here with all of the traveling and such. And of course the Studying!
Learning time management is of primary importance for student-athletes. We have practice, games and classes that take many hours of our time each week, and for each one of us, our time commitment is different. Learning proper time management skills is only going to help us in reaching our future goals. All of us, however, will achieve these skills in our own ways. People are different, and what might work for your roommate or your "brainiac" teammate might not be right for you.
Luckily for us, we have some saving graces. We might have more time pressures than the typical students, but we also have resources specifically geared to our needs. For instance, the university offers an academic support program that includes tutoring, career counseling, an athlete study hall and computer lab.
Enough talk about school, we have home games this weekend! Come party with us as we go for our first ACC win of the year! We play Friday and Saturday night at 7 pm against Boston College and Maryland. Hope to see everyone there!
