After a 3-0 sweep of non-conference opponent Campbell on Tuesday night at home, the NC State volleyball team returns to Atlantic Coast Conference play this weekend with matches at Clemson and No. 4 Georgia Tech. The Wolfpack will take on the Tigers Friday night, and then the Yellow Jackets on Saturday night, with both matches starting at 7 p.m.

Continuing to lead the Wolfpack (7-16, 0-8) offensively is freshman outside hitter Julia Reis and junior middle blocker Maya Mapp. Reis is the team's leader in kills with 246, while Mapp has caught fire recently, with 204 kills on the season and a team-best .302 attack percentage.

Anchoring NC State's defense is senior libero Caroline Frede, whose total of 277 digs is good for a team-best 3.42 digs per game average. Meanwhile, Mapp and fellow junior middle blocker Paige Gilliam have combined to be a defensive force for the Wolfpack, totaling 83 and 71 blocks respectively.

Clemson (13-11, 2-6) enters the weekend fresh off a 3-1 win over Appalachian State. The Tigers are led by outside hitter Leslie Finn and middle hitter Lori Ashton, who have recorded 379 and 302 kills respectively. Ashton and fellow teammate, outside hitter Ryane Beasley lead the team in total blocks, combining for 216 thus far, while setter Stephanie Haskell has dished out 822 assists.

Georgia Tech (20-0, 8-0) has been perfect this whole season and partly because of the play of outside hitter Lynnette Moster and middle blocker Alexandra Preiss. Moster features a team-best 280 kills off a .326 attack percentage, while Preiss has 278 kills and a .426 hitting percentage. Defensive specialist Marisa Aston leads the Yellow Jackets in digs with 220, and Preiss is the team's leader in total blocks with 76.
