Pack Ends Season at Maryland, Boston College
Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State volleyball team will wrap up the first season of the Charita J. Stubbs era over the Thanksgiving weekend with matches at Maryland and Boston College. The Pack will battle the Terrapins in College Park, Md., on Friday, Nov. 24 at 2:30 p.m., before challenging the Eagles in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. The red and white enter the weekend at 2-27 (0-20 ACC).
Chrissy Zirpolo continues to lead the Wolfpack offense with 2.56 kills per game, while Allison Davis hoists 9.15 assists per contest. Andrea Bentley posts 2.87 digs per set and Kelley Blakewood’s 25 service aces rank first on the squad.
The Terps stand at 11-18 (4-16 ACC). NC State last played Maryland on Saturday, Oct. 21 in Raleigh. The Pack took the first two games, but couldn’t withstand a late Terrapin push, falling 3-2. Jade Brown leads Maryland with 3.72 kills per contest, while Maggie Schmelzle contributes 3.04 digs each time out.

The Eagles own an 11-18 (9-11 ACC) record and will host North Carolina on Friday. NC State lost to Boston College, 3-1, on Friday, Oct. 20 in Raleigh. Kelsey Johnson leads the Eagles with 3.91 kills per game. Brittany Pierpont averages 9.73 assists per contest while Taylor Williams has 43 service aces on the season.
