    Gayle Sherrill Matthews joined the Wolfpack Club in June 2008 as a receptionist. Gayle is a graduate of Campbell University. She retired from teaching at Athens Drive High School in 2001 but continued in a non-teaching position and officially retired from Wake County Schools in 2006.

    Gayle has one son, Grady and two grandchildren, Gray and McCauley.
