    Josh Rattray joined the NC State athletics communications office in August of 2013. He is the primary communications contact for Wolfpack men's basketball and women's golf. Rattray came to NCSU after serving four years at his alma mater, Butler University.

    During his time at Butler, Rattray was the primary contact for ButlerSports.com, the No. 1 web traffic school site in the PrestoSports network. He brought multimedia to ButlerSports.com, adding videos, audios, photo galleries and live blogs as well as interactive desktop publishing. He was the secondary contact in a two-man office during the school's two runs to the NCAA men's basketball championship games. He was the primary contact for nine of the school's 19 varsity sports.

    Prior to his stint at Butler, he worked at the Horizon League office in Indianapolis during the 2008-09 school year, where he was the contact for men's and women's soccer, cross country and men's and women's golf. He assisted with the Horizon League Network, the league's internet destination for video webcasts and other video-on-demand features.

    He served for one year (2007-08) as a sports information intern at Michigan State University, working with the Spartans' baseball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's swimming and diving teams. While at Michigan State, Rattray helped the athletics communications office lead the nation in podcast downloads on MSUSpartans.com. Rattray spent the 2006-07 year as sports information assistant at Cleveland State University, serving as the primary contact for eight of the school's 17 Division I sports, including men's soccer, baseball and wrestling.

    Rattray attended Butler University from 2002-06, where he handled radio broadcasts for more than 90 women's basketball games. He won two scholarships for his broadcasting work, as well as a first place award from the Society of Professional Journalists, College Division.

    Rattray, a native of Crown Point, Ind., earned a B.A. degree in media arts with minors in public relations and business administration at Butler in 2006. He is single and resides in Raleigh.
