Pack Rifle Listed No. 14 in First Spring Ranking

MURRAY, Ky. – The NC State rifle team is listed at No. 14 in the first ranking of 2014, released by the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA). State moves up two spots in the poll after completing the fall season of competition ranked No. 16.
In its last outing, the Pack fired its second-highest team score of the season with a 4612 clip at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range against Murray State and Columbus State. The squad shot a score of 2332 in the air rifle competition and a total of 2280 in smallbore.
The Wolfpack is 16-6 overall, 13-0 in the Southeastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC), and 0-4 in the Great America Rifle Conference (GARC).
NC State returns to action on Sunday, Jan. 19, when it travels to Morgantown, W. Va., to compete against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
