Wolfpack Competes at Wisconsin Invitational and Blue Ridge Open

MADISON, Wisc. - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Wisconsin Invitational on Saturday, with the women coming in 20th out of 37 teams and the men placing 23rd out of 35 teams.
On the men's side, senior All-American Andrew Colley had another spectacular outing, placing third overall out of 244 runners with a time of 23:16.
Graham Crawford finished 79th overall with a time of 24:14 to tally the second-highest finish on the day for the Wolfpack. Jacob Thomsen finished four spots behind Crawford in 83rd place with a time of 24:16. Michael Mansy & Sam Roberson came in at 181st and 192nd, respectively, with times of 24:51 for Mansy and 24:57 for Roberson.
On the women's side, Joanna Thompson paced the Pack with a 17th-place finish, tallying a time of 20:08.
Kaitlyn Kramer & Megan Moye captured the next highest finishes for State with times of 21:10 and 21:13, coming in at 110th and 115th. Emily Pritt ran a time of 21:23 to finish at 144th, while Kenyetta Iyevbele came in at 178th, running the course in 21:44.
In the Blue Ridge Open in Boone, N.C., hosted by Appalachian State, the Wolfpack placed four runners in the men's and women's divisions. On the men's side, Bobby Mintz finished in 45th place with a time of 25:38 while Clay Jones ran a time of 27:21 to come in at 147th place. On the women's side Halsey Merritt ran a time of 18:49 to finish in 21st place, while Esther Fisher came in at 33rd with a time of 19:06.
