    Lorenzo Brown Interview (via NBA.com)

Former Wolfpack star Lorenzo Brown signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. He was called up after a brief stint with the NBA D-League's Springfield Armor, which also had former NC State player Dennis Horner on its roster.

Brown entered the 2013 NBA Draft following his junior season at NC State and was selected with the 52nd overall pick by Minnesota. He participated for the Timberwolves in both the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and in the team's preseason camp.

Brown started 95 of his 101 games played with the Wolfpack, earning second team All-ACC accolades as a junior in 2013 and he was a third-team performer as a sophomore. He averaged 11.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in his career and finished third in NC State history in assists (589) and seventh in steals (172).
