In 2012: Sat out the 2012 season after transferring from Colorado State.
At Colorado State: Graduated high school early, and enrolled in the spring of 2010 ... A two-year starter ... Threw for 4,269 yards and 18 touchdowns in his two seasons ... Completed 63.5 percent (414-652) of his passes, and a QB efficiency rating of 121.17 ... Also had three rushing touchdowns ... Cut his interceptions from 13 as a freshman to eight in 2011 ... Broke the CSU single-season record with a .647 completion percentage as a freshman ... Passed for more than 300 yards in three games, with a career-best 387 versus San Jose State in 2011 ... Also had three games with three touchdown passes.
Prep: A three-year starter ... Was named the 2008 and 2009 Grossmont South League Offensive Player of the Year, as a junior and senior ...Combined to throw for 5,553 yards and 52 touchdowns those two years ... Had only 11 interceptions ... Named first-team all-state those two years ... Played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Myrtle Beach after his senior season ... Graduated from high school a semester early, with a 4.0 GPA ... Was named the San Diego Union-Tribune's Student-Athlete of the year as a senior ... Was rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com coming out of Valhalla High School in 2010.
