NEW LONDON, N.C. - No. 36 NC State is tied for eighth place after Saturday's second round of the 2013 ACC Men's Golf Championship at Old North State Club.
The Wolfpack shot a team total of 2-under 286 on Saturday and is at 4-over 580 for the tournament, and tied with North Carolina.
Junior Logan Harrell, in his first ACC Championship appearance, leads the Pack at 2-under 142. He fired a 3-under 69 thanks to an eagle at the par-5 11th hole on Saturday.
Junior All-American Albin Choi shot a 1-over 73 during round two. The Ben Hogan Award semifinalist is tied for 31st at 1-over 145.
Senior Mitch Sutton moved 10 spots up the leader board with a 2-under 70 on Saturday. He sits in 40th at 4-over 148.
Sophomore Bill Herring and freshman Carter Page are tied for 41st at 5-over 149.
Florida State leads at 25-under 551, four shots in front of Duke, while Georgia Tech is five shots behind in third. The Yellow Jackets' Anders Albertson leads the individual competition by two shots at 11-under 133.
The Wolfpack will play with North Carolina and Clemson for the second-straight day in Sunday's final round. The first tee time begins at 9:10 a.m.
