    Men's Soccer Adds Three Newcomers

    NC State men's soccer added three newcomers ahead of the 2013 season: Davis Robinson, Jonathan Davis, and Davi Ramos, bolstering a strong class of eight signed earlier in the spring.

    "Each of these players are driven and motivated to be successful and are great additions to our program," said NC State head coach Kelly Findley. "We look forward to watching them develop as people, players and students while they are here at NC State."

    Capsules for the three additions are listed below:

    Davis Robinson (D)
    Club:  CASL Chelsea Academy
    Coach: Rusty Scarborough
    Hometown: Cary, NC

    Two time state cup champion, regional champion, and national finalist... Three years Academy experience, two playoff week appearances... Academy Finals Week appearance... Captain of Apex High School.

    Jonathan Davis (GK)
    Club: North Meck Soccer Academy
    Coach: Craig Conger
    Hometown:  Gastonia, NC

    Three year varsity starter at Forestview High School and was selected twice as All-Conference and All-Region... Two-time Gazette Cup champion... Two time member of the All-Gazette Team, and MVP of the Gazette Cup in 2011... Member of North Meck Soccer Academy for four years, selected to participate in several US Soccer Market Training Centers... Member of the U14 and U15 US National Team Pools.

    Davi Ramos (F)
    High School: Fayetteville Academy
    Coach: Andrew McCarthy
    Hometown:  Recife, Brazil

    An NCSCAA High School Scholar All-American, South Region All-American, and Cape Fear Region Player of the Year in 2012... Won the 2011 and 2012 NCISAA 2A State Championship... Played for CASL Chelsea Academy.
