    RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team will make its final out-of-state road trip of the regular season to Boston College, Friday, April 12. The match is slated to begin at 5 p.m. at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex in Dedham, Mass. 

    The Wolfpack (12-8, 5-3 ACC) has won all 11 meetings against the Eagles. Last year, State defeated Boston College, 7-0, on April 6, 2012 in Raleigh. The Pack won all six singles matches and won two of three doubles matches.

    Senior Dave Thomson and junior Sean Weber are ranked 10th nationally in the latest ITA doubles poll, after facing a pair of ranked opponents over the weekend. The duo is 18-8 on the season, including a 12-5 mark in dual matches. They also boast an impressive 7-3 mark against nationally ranked opponents. 

    Sophomore Austin Powell leads the team in singles wins with 20 and is tied for the team lead in dual singles wins with 11, along with Beck Bond. Powell is 8-2 in his last 10 contests. 

    Boston College enters the match with a 5-11 record and 0-6 mark in ACC play. The Eagles lost to the Miami Hurricanes, 7-0, in their last outing. BC is led by Matt Wagner with a team-best eight dual singles wins.
