Assistant wrestling coach Jamill Kelly traveled to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and will serve as part of the support staff for USA Wrestling. Kelly recently joined the Pack coaching staff as part of new head coach Pat Popolizio's first staff.

Kelly: The simulation matches went well for the team. The guys wrestled 3-4 matches with different partners to simulate the tournament format. After the simulation we did some recovery in the sauna along with cold plunge to help the guys keep their bodies feeling good.

With wrestling starting in eight days the guys are starting to really get anxious to compete. As a coaching staff we are doing our best to keep their anxiety level down and keep them as comfortable and calm as possible. In International Wrestling it's a blind draw which means you can have two world finalist competing in the first round. With that type of tournament set up the guys have to be ready to go. It's getting closer I can't wait!

We have a great staff full of knowledge and all very accomplished. With competition being a little more then a week away keeping guys healthy is the biggest key.

Here is a list of our staff:
    • Zeke Jones, head USAW coach
    • John Smith, head coach Oklahoma State
    • Cael Sanderson, head coach Penn State
    • Mark Manning, head coach Nebraska
    • Lou Rouselli, associate head coach Ohio State
    • Kenny Monday, three-time Olympic champ
    • Brandon Slay, Olympic champ
    • Sean Bormet, assistant coach Michigan
