    NC State WBB Improves to No. 18 in Latest AP Poll

    RALEIGH, N.C. – For the fourth straight week, the NC State women’s basketball team (18-3, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) remains among the top 25 teams in the country. In the latest edition of the Associated Press top-25 poll, NC State was ranked No. 18 in the country with 261 points on Monday.

    Monday’s ranking marks the 330th week in program history during which the team has been ranked in the AP poll.

    The Wolfpack recently completed a 2-0 week in ACC play, defeating Boston College (85-76) at home Thursday before winning on the road at RV/- Georgia Tech (80-73) Sunday.

    NC State will next be in action at home on Thursday, Jan. 30 vs. No. 8 Maryland. The Wolfpack and Terrapins will tip off from Reynolds Coliseum at 7 p.m. with the game set to be broadcast live on ESPN3.
