Pack Moves Into Tie For Eighth After Bryan National Collegiate Second Round

BROWNS SUMMITT, N.C. - After two days of competition at the Bryan National Collegiate, the NC State women's golf team is tied for eighth with a two-day total of 21-over 597. The Wolfpack shot a 9-over 297 in Saturday's second round.
Junior Brittany Marchand had the Pack's low round Saturday with a 2-under 70 to move into a tie for 12th at 2-over 146. Marchand opened her day with an eagle on the par-4, 363-yard 10th hole.
Fellow junior Ana Menendez was two strokes back with an even par 72 for a two-day total of 4-over 148 to put her in a tie for 20th. Menendez had four birdies in her second round, including three during her final four holes.
Sophomore Augusta James carded a 4-over 76 in her second round and is tied for 37th with a 6-over 150 after two days. Freshman Rachael Taylor posted a 7-over 79 in the second round for a 9-over 153 total, tying her for 52nd. Sophomore Vivian Tsui also recorded a 79 on day two and is tied for 71st at 12-over 156.
