RALEIGH, N.C. – After posting a season-best score last week in the Sweetheart Invitational, the NC State gymnastics team is set to travel to Pittsburgh, Pa., for a dual meet against the Pitt Panthers. The competition is set to begin at 7 p.m., and can be seen on ESPN3.

“We are excited to compete against Pitt,” said head coach Mark Stevenson. “They’re a good team and their coaching staff has done a remarkable job.”

The Pack will open the meet on beam before moving to the floor exercise. In the second half of the competition, State will compete on vault and complete the evening on the uneven parallel bars.

In its most recent competition, the Wolfpack posted a 196.050 to finish first overall in the annual Sweetheart Invite. The Pack was led by senior Stephanie Ouellette, who captured first place in the all-around competition with a 39.300. She was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week earlier this week for her performance. Lane Jarred also enjoyed a strong meet for the Wolfpack, finishing with a career-best 9.750 on bars and first on the podium on beam with a 9.850.
