The Wolfpack set multiple school and ACC records during its recently completed 2011 season, including school marks for ACC wins and a 13-match winning streak.
All-ACC middle blocker Margaret Salata has 13 kills and nine blocks for the Wolfpack, while ACC All-Freshman selection Dariyan Hopper has 11 kils and 12.5 blocks. The Pack finishes with its most overall victories since 1996 and a record number of ACC wins.
NC State will recognize its four senior volleyball players prior to today's 1 p.m. contest against Georgia Tech. Margaret Salata, Kelly Wood, Luciana Shafer and Becah Fogle have helped turn the Wolfpack into a winning program during their careers.
NC State jumped out to a quick lead against Georgia Tech and cruised to a 3-0 victory on Senior Day at Reynolds Coliseum. The win gives the Pack a 19-11 overall mark and a 7-10 ACC record. State travels to play Virginia and Virginia Tech next weekend.

Recorded 355 digs and 387 kills during her senior campaign while leading her team to a 25-11 record and an area/district championship ... Team captain her senior year ... Named to Prep Volleyball Top 150 as a senior ... Chosen as Hill Country News Most Valuable Player in 2006 and 2007 ... Honored first-team all-district in 2006 and 2007 ... Helped team to 31-3 record and district championship as a sophomore while earning 281 kills on the season ... Also lettered in track, competing in the high jump ... Four-time academic all-district honoree.
