CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - NC State women's tennis is set to compete at the ITA Carolina Regional Championships, hosted by North Carolina in Chapel Hill from Thursday, Oct. 16, through Tuesday, Oct. 21.
Jasmine Conway will open play for the Wolfpack on Thursday (Oct. 16) at 9 a.m. in the qualifying round of 64, facing Keira Stewart of Western Carolina. Five Wolfpack players will then begin their competition in the main singles draw beginning Friday (Oct. 17): No. 74 Gabriella Broadfoot, No. 112 Victoria Osuigwe, No. 72 Mia Slama, No. 88 Lavinia Tanasie, and No. 38 Anna Zyryanova.
NC State will also field three doubles pairs in Chapel Hill in No. 73 Tanasie and Slama, No. 25 Zyryanova and Conway, and No. 10 Broadfoot and Osuigwe.
The ITA Regional Championships serve as another opportunity for players to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. Broadfoot and Osuigwe have already secured a spot in the national tournament as a doubles pair after reaching the semifinals at ITA All-Americans earlier this fall. Each ITA Regional advances the top two singles players and the winning doubles pair to the NCAA Tournament in November.
Admission to the regional tournament at UNC is free. Live stats can be found here and live streams can be found here.
