
Wolfpack Set for ACC Women's Tennis Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State women's tennis is set to begin play at the 2016 ACC Championship Wednesday as the No. 10 seed in the tournament.
The Wolfpack will face No. 15 seeded Louisville in Wednesday's premiere first-round matchup scheduled for 10 a.m. at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. The winner of the Pack-Cardinal dual will advance to second-round play, facing the No. 7-seed Syracuse Thursday.
During the regular season the Pack defeated Louisville and then No. 24-ranked Syracuse, both of which contributed to the team's six regular-season ACC wins, a new program record.

The ACC Championship will continue through the weekend with the final round scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday. Fifteen conference opponents will compete for the title, 10 of which currently rank in the nation's top 40 according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA):
