
Grace Hartman Named ACC Outdoor Track Women’s Performer of the Year

RALEIGH, N.C. – Grace Hartman has been named the ACC Outdoor Track Women's Performer of the Year, the conference announced Monday, following a remarkable 2025 season highlighted by record-breaking performances and national recognition.
Hartman posted two NCAA all-time marks during the season, establishing herself as one of the most dominant distance runners in collegiate history. She clocked the third-fastest 10,000 meters in NCAA history with a time of 31:20.60 at the Raleigh Relays and followed that up with the fourth-fastest 5,000 meters all-time, running 14:58.11 at the Duke Twilight.
In addition to those historic marks, Hartman broke numerous meet, facility, and program records throughout the season. She captured the ACC Outdoor Championship title in the 5,000m, winning in 15:12.03, and finished the season as the top ACC performer in both the 5,000m and 10,000m events.
At the NCAA East Regional, Hartman continued her dominance by setting new University of North Florida facility records in both distance events. She won the 10,000m in 32:32.80 and the 5,000m in 15:23.52, earning her spot at the NCAA Championships.
Hartman concluded her season with First Team All-American honors in both events at the NCAA Championships. She placed second in the 10,000m, running 31:32.15, and finished fifth in the 5,000m with a time of 15:35.29.
Her outstanding performances throughout the season not only solidified her as one of the best in the ACC but also as one of the most accomplished distance runners in collegiate track and field this year.
