Wolfpack Places Six on All-ACC Academic Baseball Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Six members of the NC State Baseball team were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Thursday afternoon.
Matt Heavner and Ryan Marohn each earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the second time in their NC State careers. The Wolfpack has now had 54 All-ACC Academic honorees in program history.
Requirements for selection are a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, position players must compete in at least 50% of the team's contests, and pitchers in 20%.
