Pack Opens Season at Visit Knoxville Collegiate

LOUDON, Tenn. – The NC State men's golf season opened the 2025-26 season at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate this weekend.
The Pack finished in 15th place in the first tournament under new head coach Bo Andrews.
Pearce Lewin led the Pack in his debut performance at NC State. The Cape Town, South Africa native finished in a tie for 40th place at six-over par for the tournament.
Next for the Pack was fellow newcomer Evan Woosley-Reed who finished in a tie for 71st place. Like Lewin, Woosley-Reed shot an even-par 70 in the opening round.
A third transfer, Markus Varjun was next for NC State, one shot back of Woosley-Reed in a tie for 73rd place.
Michael Snyder, in the first tournament of his collegiate career, finished one shot back of Varjun in 77th place.
Hunter Stetson rounded out the NC State lineup in a tie for 87th place.
Tennessee captured its home tournament, winning the title by eight shots over second-place Ole Miss.
The Pack is back in action Monday, Sept. 29 when it begins play at the Bryan Bros Collegiate at Solina Golf Club in Columbia, S.C.
