2023 SEASON:

• Saw action in 176 special teams snap - the highest mark on the team.

• A reserve linebacker who unselfishly moved to running back during the bye week - he played 51 snaps from scrimmage for the year.

• Scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 12-yard catch and run vs. Miami.

2022 SEASON:

• Reserve linebacker who saw action in every game on special teams.

• In for a total of 138 special teams plays.

• Saw his only action from scrimmage vs. Charleston Southern, he was in for 18 snaps.

2021 SEASON

• Redshirted the season, he saw action in three games on special teams: Miami, Louisville and Florida State.

• Enrolled at NC State in January of 2021 and went through spring drills with the Wolfpack.

IN HIGH SCHOOL

• Played safety and running back at West Stanly High School for coach Brett Morton.

• Career Stats: A three-year letterman. Finished with 46 tackles and three interceptions. Rushed 368 times for 3,133 yards and 38 touchdowns, and caught 31 passes for 487 yards and four TDs. Totaled 3,860 all-purpose yards and 44 career TDs.

• Senior Stats: West Stanly did not have a 2020 fall season.

• Junior Stats: Saw action in eight games. Recorded 36 tackles and one interception on defense. On offense, rushed for 1,534 yard and 22 touchdowns with an average of 13.6 yards per carry and 191.8 yards per game. Helped lead his team to an 8-3 record and the NC 2A state playoffs.

• Sophomore Stats: Rushed for 869 yards and nine TDs. Earned all-conference honors. Helped lead the team to a 7-5 record and the second round of the NC 2A state playoffs.

• Competed in the 200m, high jump, long jump, triple jump, and shot put on the track & field team.

• Honors: Was selected to play in the 2020 All-American Bowl. Earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and junior.

• Rankings: Ranked No. 199 in ESPN’s top-300 recruits, also a four-star recruit. Ranked the No. 22 outside linebacker nationally by ESPN and the No. 12 recruit in North Carolina. Ranked as the No. 33 player in the state by 247Sports.com. Ranked No. 70 nationally among all recruits, the No. 3 athlete nationally and the No. 5 player in North Carolina by 247Sports.com.
