"It starts with Katie's ability to shoot the three at a really high percentage and stretch a defense. She also has a strong assist-to-turnover ratio that makes everyone around her better. Her rebounding skill on the defensive end will be an asset as well. Katie is a great fit for what we do at NC State."
2023-24 (JUNIOR AT NC STATE):
- Appeared in eight games, logging five minutes per contest
- Made first appearance with the Wolfpack against Kentucky at the Paradise Jam, logging three rebounds in 10 minutes played
- Registered three points and one assist in five minutes at Old Dominion
- Played in two ACC contests, including at Pitt, in which she scored a season-high six points off 2-of-3 from the 3-point line with a rebound and assist
- Made an appearance vs. Chattanooga in the NCAA Tournament
2022-23 (SOPHOMORE AT SACRAMENTO STATE):
- Averaged a versatile 8.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 blocks per game during the 2022-23 campaign
- Appeared in 29 of the team's 33 games and made 27 starts on her way to averaging 35.3 minutes per game
- One of the nation's most accurate three-point shooters with a 45.5 percent clip that ranked No. 6 in the country
- Posted three double-doubles and scored in double figures in 13 games
- Scored 20 points against Montana State on Feb. 25 to tie her career high; also tied career high in three pointers made in that game with six
- Also hit six threes in a Dec. 19 game at CSUN
- Blocked 42 shots to lead the Big Sky Conference
- Played 40+ minutes six times during the season
2021-22 (FRESHMAN AT SACRAMENTO STATE):
- Appeared in 22 games and made the start in 21 of those appearances
- Averaged 8.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game during her rookie season
- Set the Sacramento State program record in three-point percentage with a mark of .463 (56-of-121)
- Established career highs in scoring (20) and made three pointers (6) in Feb. 3 game at Northern Arizona
- Also led the team in scoring in Dec. 4 game at Montana State, the first start of her collegiate career
- 2021-22 Big Sky All-Academic Team honoree
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE:
- Four-year varsity letterwinner for the Heritage Timberwolves
- Three-sport athlete in high school as she was also a member of the volleyball and track and field teams at Heritage; earned all-league honors in all three of her sports
- Averaged 18.0 points per game as a high school senior; helped lead her team to a third-place finish in its league
- Named All-Region Female Athlete of the Year and First Team all-league in 2020-21
- Won a gold medal with American Samoa at the XVI Pacific Games in 2019
- 4A Greater St. Helens League Field Athlete of the Year as a high school sophomore in 2019
